Opportunity
Pacific Islands Medical Aid is a non-profit (501c3) humanitarian charity. Their mission is to help save lives and reduce pain and suffering in some of the poorest island nations in the Pacific region by providing urgently needed doctors, medicines, medical supplies and services, clean water technology, communications equipment and emergency transportation.
In order to reach potential donors and volunteers, they needed a new, responsive website and messaging to match.
Challenge
The previous website was hard-coded with HTML and CSS, no Content Management System for easy administration. This made it very difficult to stay current with what was happening with the life-saving trips.
PIMA needed to create a new website, draft new content and messaging, create and/or update social media sites for a better presence in real-time. This is how they’ll be able to increase awareness, build engagement and further their wonderful cause.
Solution
38West designed a new website UI page hierarchy that would be easy to navigate and be responsive for mobile devices. Being developed within a newly selected CMS, the ease of administration would mean that updates could more quickly be completed.
We also updated PIMA’s social media and created a matching newsletter. Working closely with PIMA, 38West sends out a monthly newsletter and coinciding alerts from the social sites.
